Two weeks prior to performance (minimum):· 

Please let us know the preferred format for music (CD, MP3 Player, Computer, Flash Drive, etc)· Floor plan and inventory list sent to: cherry.cheeks.burlesque@gmail.com 

 

Access:

Same day load in (minimum 3 hours before show time)

 

Stage:

Clean stage, free of splinters, nails, holes, etc. which has been swept and cleaned prior to any rehearsals, and again prior to performance · Stage dimensions to be a minimum of 18 feet (6 m) wide by11 feet (3m) deep · Height clearance of stage to be a minimum of 11 feet (3 m) ·  Black backdrop; additional backdrops are appreciated · Storage for props immediately off stage, on both sides of the stage, if possible · Stage access with at least once entrance between the Green room/backstage area

 

Audio:

One technician · Professional sound system · Sound console· 1-2 wireless hand-held vocal microphones · 2 adjustable mic stands · 1 stage monitor

 

Lighting:

One lighting technician · Sufficient lighting to frontlight, sidelight, and backlight the entire performance space · A variety of gel colours · Lights changed and adjusted to fit performance needs prior to load in time · 1 spotlight

 

Special effects:

Performers often wear cosmetic glitter during all performances · Performers use confetti during some performances · Performers often use feather boas which may shed during performances · Performers may use liquid onstage · Please inform Cherry Cheeks if there are limitations with any of these products/effects within the venue

 

Other items:

Wide broom backstage for mid-show sweeping (e.g., confetti) · 2 Straight backed, armless chairs · 1 folding, armless chair · 1 Stool · 1-2 dry rags for possible cleanup

 

Dressing room:

Warm, dry, well-lit private dressing room, with chairs, mirrors, costume racks, and hangers · A private washroom reserved for artists, accessible from the backstage area · Dressing room is to be reserved for performers, emcee, and stage hand exclusively during the duration of the performance 

 

Travel and overnight accommodation:

Transportation, accommodation, and meals for 4-8 people (depending on the size of the show) to be arranged according to location and schedule

 

Hospitality:

Fruit, Vegetables, Water, and other light snacks backstage prior to the show. Any performer allergies will be submitted 2 weeks prior to show

 

Merchandise:

Easily accessible location, 2ft x 3ft table, and assistance with staffing a merchandise table
